Sports Training and Injury Prevention
Coors Core Fitness works with Cincinnati athletes of all levels and ages to prevent injuries, increase strength and flexibility and boost speed, agility and endurance. Our clients include college and professional athletes, runners, weekend golfers, and high school athletes.

Our process is customized to the goals and needs of every client, but our basic training process is a constant.

Sports training and conditioning process
1. Basic Training
The first 3-4 sessions are used to create a client’s workout base. All clients are required to go through this process from the high-end athlete to someone with a chronic illness. Our goal is to give our clients everything they need to train safely while learning all they can about exercise.
  • Core Training 101
  • Stretching 101
  • Posture 101
  • Nutrition review and referral
  • Client program
  • Correction of form
2. Imbalance Correction
Every client has muscular imbalances that may cause the same repetitive injuries. Our trainer’s job is to understand these imbalances and use corrective exercise techniques to train. Every client is different therefore the selection of exercises is different. This phase is never fully completed because our bodies are always changing. This phase is incorporated, eventually, into Phase 3.
3. Sports Specific Training
This phase occurs once the client successfully completes Phases 1 and 2. This phase will contain sport-specific exercises particular to that athlete. It can be combined with another sports conditioning protocol (4).
4. Additional Training
Some athletes choose to co-train with Tekulve Acceleration Training, Randy Cox (running coach) or are already involved in training with a team coach while they do Sports Specific Training with us. Coors Core Fitness works with these third parties to design the best program for the athlete.
